Senior Product Manager

Job Location: Ra'anana, Israel

This position is to be a Senior Product Manager for the different LivePerson product offerings and play a leading role in the Product Management group. It is expected that the PM will be in charge of tying the company's business aspects with product development to ensure that the needs of the market are effectively translated into product requirements. This includes the definition, review and revision of all artifacts as required during the inception and elaboration phases of LivePerson’s Product Management process.

Responsibilities

• Product release scoping and features prioritization
• Functional requirements specifications
• Tactical business ownership
• Collaborate with technical Ops teams to include R&D, QA, PMO, Production and Support
• Review high-level Designs
• Product training

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of relevant software Product Management experience – ideally product management or application design in the areas of enterprise content management and analytics-driven marketing suites
• Experience with a structured product development methodologies
• Current knowledge and expertise in web and telecommunications technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a team and manage complex projects
• Detailed / analytically oriented
• Creative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently on a team with aggressive timetables
• Good understanding of e-business technologies and SaaS business model
• Ability to present high-level product concepts and defend product release goals to management and peers
• Travel mainly to NA a few times a year, to include NYC and Atlanta LivePerson offices as well as various client locations. Overall travel estimated at less than 20%.
• BA/BSc, preferably engineering or computer science, MBA – advantage
